A Simple Spanish Rule
A common mistake from community media managers in Los Angeles is using the Spanish accent mark, called tilde, incorrectly. One simple rule for using tilde is to always maintain it even when the word is written in all capital letters.
Remembering, the tilde determines the meaning of the Spanish word. For examples:
ÉL BEBE / EL BEBÉ
He drinks / The baby
CANTO / CANTÓ
I sing / I sang
