Carlos has over fifteen years teaching and creating educational strategies in the Spanish language.

“Since relocating from Peru to Los Angeles in 2015, I have provided private tutoring services and been employed as a Spanish Language Tutor in the Modern Language Tutoring Center at Santa Monica College. In my time at this position, I reviewed educational materials of the U.S. Department of Education to better understand the true value of learning Spanish as a second language in the United States.”

Educational highlights include - Bachelor of Secondary Education, concentration in Spanish Language and Literature; Bachelor of Communication Sciences; Master of Arts in Public Relations; and possess a completion of a professional development program in Adult Education.
