Spanish For Career Development
The Spanish For Career Development program is recommended for all students and professionals who desire to add value to their career path by connecting fluency in Spanish for better employment opportunities.
- Goal: Develop social and working skills to have effective interaction with the Hispanic culture
- Available: 2-6 person Student Groups
- Duration: 1.5-hour sessions, twice per week, 8-weeks per level
This program consists of three learning levels: Conversational Spanish I, Conversational Spanish II and Conversational Spanish III. Each level lasts a period of eight weeks, featuring twice weekly sessions. Each individual session lasts ninety minutes.

(*) Spanish knowledge is not required for Conversational Spanish I.
(**) Spanish Conversational III is an advanced level. This level customizes content to focus on individual career path and business-industry specifics.

Conversational Spanish I
LESSON 1
Being ready to learn to greet people and exchange some polite questions and answers.
LESSON 2
Being ready to learn vocabulary related to restaurants and cafeterias.
LESSON 3
Being ready to learn additional vocabulary relate to restaurants.
LESSON 4
Being ready to learn vocabulary related to the family.
LESSON 5
Being ready to learn vocabulary pertaining to hotels.
LESSON 6
Being ready to learn vocabulary about typical activities related to traveling in a foreign country.
LESSON 7
Being ready to learn vocabulary related to travel arrangements.
LESSON 8
Being ready to learn vocabulary to sports and other outdoor activities.
Conversational Spanish II
LESSON 1
Being ready to learn vocabulary related to daily routine and personal grooming.
LESSON 2
Being ready to learn vocabulary related to housework, shopping and weather.
LESSON 3
Being ready to learn vocabulary related to things found at a shopping mall.
LESSON 4
Being ready to learn vocabulary related to automóviles.
LESSON 5
Being ready to learn vocabulary related to transportation.
LESSON 6
Being ready to learn vocabulary related to traveling by train.

Being ready to learn vocabulary related to hospital care in emergencias.
